The Sandbox Game partners with Ubisoft! Indeed, elements of Ubisoft's famous video games will be integrated into the metaverse The Sandbox so that players can create new interactive experiences.
Rabbids arrive in the metaverse The Sandbox
The Rabbids will be the first to appear in metaverse. Voxelized characters and objects (3D representation by voxels (3D pixels)) will be available for players and game creators. You will be able to integrate these new elements into your experiences using the free creation tools (VoxEdit and Game Maker) available in The Sandbox.
"We're excited to bring the Rabbids to The Sandbox community and to empower players to create their own original experiences incorporating elements of our gaming IP. We can't wait to see how they make the Rabbids' world their own. The Sandbox is an obvious new fun playground addition to the long list of Rabbids world invasions, and a great opportunity for Ubisoft to experiment a metaverse experience for its brands."
Guillaume Mammi, Senior Manager of New Business and Partnerships at Ubisoft.
The creation is already underway as evidenced by this announcement video showing the Rabbids invading the plots of The Sandbox.
Already more than 200 The Sandbox partners, including Ubisoft
This partnership is not limited to the integration of the elements of the license Rabbids in The Sandbox. Other elements of Ubisoft's intellectual property will most certainly be integrated into metaverse. The French video game giant will thus be able to develop its own interactive experiences on its virtual plots. Indeed, in a world where heroes and magic meet, finding "familiar faces" from our favorite video game universes is a pleasure.
Ubisoft joins more than 200 partners, including big names and references (The Walking Dead, Snoop Dogg, Adidas, Warner Music Group, The Smurfs, etc.)
As a reminder, the vision of the metaverse The Sandbox is moving towards a world where players will be able to create their own game experiences using both original and familiar characters and worlds.
We are not at the end of our surprises...
