If you are a fan of PVP strategy games on mobile, you are probably familiar with Summoners War: Lost Centuria. But maybe you missed a recent important information. Indeed, since the beginning of April, the famous mobile game has been integrated into the blockchain C2X gaming platform, developed by Com2uS.
What are the changes for SW: Lost Centuria following the integration to blockchain?
For the first anniversary of the game, Com2uS decided to embark SW: LC on the blockchain. So how exactly does it work and what does it change?
We had already talked to you about C2X on the occasion of their $25 million fundraising. Indeed, Com2uS has the project to create a real blockchain gaming platform from which all their games integrating a crypto/blockchain dimension will be accessible.
This is the case of Summoners War: Lost Centuria, which has been integrated into the platform since early April. A big update has taken place, bringing its share of changes related to the integration to the blockchain.
Among the biggest changes, a new runes system has been implemented: Ancient Runes. Ancient Runes play an important role in the progression and power of your monsters. So how do you get these Ancient Runes? Well, you can get them via a new in-game currency called Magic Power Dust and Ancient Crystals. These 2 new items can be obtained by completing quests and through rewards from various in-game challenges.
Ancient Crystals and Magic Power Dust can be exchanged for tokens. 2 new digital currencies have been created: the token LCT and the token C2X.
The LCT is the in-game digital currency of Lost Centuria and can be used for in-game purchases. This token can be exchanged for token C2X at the C2X Station.
What is the purpose of the token C2X?
C2X tokens are the digital currency of the C2X platform ecosystem (they are not specific to Lost Centuria). They are the central aspect of the economic system of the blockchain gaming platform.
These C2X tokens can be exchanged for Ancient Crystals or LCT tokens via the C2X Station as well.
The C2X Station is not yet released, and is under development, we will be sure to let you know when it is released.
In short, it will be a wallet blockchain and a dApp connecting the games together, allowing the management, sending and exchange of assets within the C2X ecosystem.
